Perfect escape for a group
The guesthouse is perfect for 4 couples, 5 if you also book the studio. Each bedroom has separate ensuite. The lounge/dining and kitchen are a great living area to enjoy magnificent views. The open fireplace is perfect to relax by warming the house. Fresh eggs from the chickens, veggie garden and the bread, milk, juice etc provided is great. Close to many vineyards, Rosby cellar door with sculptures our favorite, and town for cafes and restaurants. Perfect four days for our group of friends to catch up wish we could have stayed longer but enjoy it as an annual catchup for the past 4 years.

A great escape.
Positive: Beautiful North facing rural location with views to a setting sun across the broad mudgee landscape .

Art and wine
Gorgeous setting for our weekend away with friends. We especially loved the views from the verandah. Four of us (not me) came home with artworks that we sketched or painted on the Saturday… the view really does inspire the artist within. The house beautifully accommodated our group with en-suites for each bedroom and generous shared spaces.
No need to bring anything for breakfast… the provisions were more than enough. We can recommend our itinerary which started with a pub dinner at the Court House, Saturday wine tastings at Rosby and Yeates, BBQ dinner on the verandah, and Sunday lunch at The Barn.
We’ll be back!!

Great weekend for extended family, kids and grand kids. Some good walks despite the 35 degs !! but also with grand kids to the Mudgee pool. Thanks for all the help from the NKs and wine tasting etc.. Nigel
