Rosby Guesthouse

Gorgeous setting for our weekend away with friends. We especially loved the views from the verandah. Four of us (not me) came home with artworks that we sketched or painted on the Saturday… the view really does inspire the artist within. The house beautifully accommodated our group with en-suites for each bedroom and generous shared spaces. No need to bring anything for breakfast… the provisions were more than enough. We can recommend our itinerary which started with a pub dinner at the Court House, Saturday wine tastings at Rosby and Yeates, BBQ dinner on the verandah, and Sunday lunch at The Barn. We’ll be back!!

Great weekend for extended family, kids and grand kids. Some good walks despite the 35 degs !! but also with grand kids to the Mudgee pool. Thanks for all the help from the NKs and wine tasting etc.. Nigel

What a wonderful place to stay, with everything that you need to be totally blown away. The view from the lodge is beautiful and the atmosphere created is totally relaxing. Everything you could possibly want for a wonderful few days. Thank you for a delightful experience.

Rosby Guesthouse draws us back time and time again (this was our 12th visit). It's our home away from home. Beautifully appointed, everything is guaranteed to satisfy our needs especially the elegant bedrooms with their own en-suites. The kitchen is seriously well-equipped for our group of eight and the bedrooms offer a touch of luxury with beautiful French linen, comfy beds, great lighting and room to spread out. You can eat, Tuscan-style, from a lovely wooden table outside under the grapevines or inside in the glow of candlelight. What is outstanding about this house is its orientation and aspect - you can witness all seasons in full glory from the blue-green haze of the mountains, to the flaxen fields and afternoon rain events of summer, to the blazing sunsets and crisp air of autumn and the shimmering frosty paddocks of winter. Gerry, Kay and Amber are fabulous hosts and their attention to detail in the house is legendary. r

A wonderful country retreat for families or friends. Beautiful homestead, comfortable and well stocked larder. Just relax and enjoy the views, sunsets and gorgeous wineries, including a visit to Gerry at Rosby. Our 3rd visit and certainly not our last.
