Rosby Studio

Our family of 8 adults and 4 preschool aged children, have enjoyed Rosby guesthouse and studio for the last 3 winters. Usually for a 3 night stay. The studio is ideally designed for a single adult or a couple with ensuite bedroom, lounge area and kitchenette and fabulous views. The Guesthouse has 4 generously proportioned ensuite bedrooms, each with access to encompassing veranda and a perfectly designed kitchen/dining room/ lounge room area to gather in. An absolute bonus is a chicken run, vegetable garden and panoramic views that change with the light. A snug open fire and reverse cycle air conditioning add to the comfort of this wonderful property. Rosby vineyard, sculpture garden and art gallery are walking distance from the Guesthouse and Studio and we would never miss ant least one sunny winter afternoon sampling delicious Rosby wines with the hosts, Gerry and Kay, while the children play in the gardens. We highly recommend Rosby Guesthouse and Studio as a well appointed venue just 4 1/2 hours easy drive from Sydney.

This was our fourth stay at Rosby. It is always an amazing experience, super comfortable, always well presented and a great way to spend a long weekend. We also used the Rosby Studio so we had a full house as well. The fire place really makes it a great winter get away and we were blessed by a sunny and dry weekend, but it was Mudgee cold! The bedrooms are large and each one has its own bathroom and the kitchen is well appointed and can cater for just about everything.

Our second visit to beautiful Rosby studio and once again we have been able to completely relax and recharge. Thank you for all the thoughtful extras that make staying here such a treat, including the wonderful fresh breakfast supplies,so appreciated!

We stayed at Rosby House in the Studio. It was very well appointed , very comfortable and clean. We loved being away from the madding crowd, feeding the chooks, looking out over the beautiful vista and tasting the Rosby wines too. So many little thoughtful additions to make our stay special. We loved the artworks. The only thing I would recommend and which may not bother most people is that the TV was a little difficult to watch but of course that's not a biggie for many. Love the artworks, wow what a talent.

Our first visit to Mudgee. My husband and I were after a quiet, comfortable, self-contained place in a country setting, but close to Mudgee. The studio at Rosby Winery delivered, exceeding our expectations. Gorgeous views, beautifully decorated, well appointed, generous breakfast provisions, bountiful garden, lovely chooks! The process of booking, and subsequent communications made for a smooth experience. Meeting Kay and Gerry at our wine tasting was delightful, as were the sculpture gardens and the resident pups. Wines were exceptional, and learning about the local wine making was very interesting and informative. All in all, a magical couple of days/nights at Rosby Studio.
